Todos los ganadores de los Critics Choice Awards: qué pasó con la película argentina “Belén”

La noche de este domingo, el Barker Hangar de Santa Mónica, en Los Ángeles, se vistió de gala para recibir la 31° entrega de los Critics Choice Awards. El evento, que premia lo mejor del cine y la televisión del 2025 estrenado en los Estados Unidos, marca el inicio formal de la denominada “temporada de premios”, la cual culminará con la entrega de los Oscar el próximo 15 de marzo.

Bajo la conducción de la comediante Chelsea Handler por cuarto año consecutivo, la ceremonia contó con la votación de más de 600 periodistas y críticos. Esta edición se destacó por la incorporación de cuatro nuevas categorías: Mejor Serie de Variedades, Mejor Diseño de Escenas de Acción, Mejor Reparto y Elenco, y Mejor Sonido, sumando un total de 23 rubros en cine y 21 en televisión.

La esperanza argentina y el resultado en lengua extranjera

El foco de atención para el público local estuvo puesto en Dolores Fonzi, quien llegó a Los Ángeles acompañada por su pareja, el director Santiago Mitre. Fonzi competía en el rubro de Mejor Película en Lengua Extranjera con su filme Belén, el cual ella misma protagoniza y dirige. Durante la transmisión, se pudo ver a la actriz argentina sentada junto a la nominada Jessica Biel.

Sin embargo, a pesar de las expectativas, la suerte no estuvo del lado de la producción nacional. El premio en dicha categoría fue otorgado a la película brasileña “El agente secreto”. Cabe recordar que hace exactamente tres años, Santiago Mitre había competido en el mismo rubro con el filme Argentina, 1985.
