Termo a mano, bombilla lista y kil\u00f3metros por delante, la escena se repite especialmente cuando se acercan las vacaciones de verano y los fines de semana largos, momentos en los que miles de familias salen a la ruta rumbo a distintos destinos tur\u00edsticos del pa\u00eds. <\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, esa <b>costumbre tan arraigada puede no solo representar un riesgo para la seguridad vial, sino tambi\u00e9n salir cara<\/b>: en algunas provincias, cebar o tomar mate mientras se maneja es motivo de sanciones econ\u00f3micas, aun cuando la Ley Nacional de Tr\u00e1nsito no lo proh\u00edbe de manera expl\u00edcita.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lanacion.com.ar\/autos\/una-automotriz-llego-a-la-argentina-y-presento-cuatro-nuevos-modelos-que-ya-estan-a-la-venta-nid15122025\/\">Una automotriz lleg\u00f3 a la Argentina y present\u00f3 cuatro nuevos modelos que ya est\u00e1n a la venta<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>La clave no est\u00e1 en la bebida, sino en el control del veh\u00edculo<\/b>. La normativa nacional establece que <b>el conductor debe mantener ambas manos sobre el volante<\/b>, una condici\u00f3n que deja poco margen para las infusiones durante la marcha. En contextos de tr\u00e1nsito intenso, altas temperaturas y viajes prolongados, cualquier distracci\u00f3n puede convertirse en un factor determinante ante una maniobra imprevista.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/KB2PSRICDBBMXCZYXGXW4PCWWM.jpg?auth=810f4b837769903555019c7f91263bc80f92f8da3fcd47b548bcdacabeb99ee4&amp;smart=true&amp;width=2000&amp;height=1333\" alt=\"En Mendoza est\u00e1 tipificado como una falta grave\" height=\"1333\" width=\"2000\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sobre esa base, <b>ciertas jurisdicciones avanzaron con regulaciones m\u00e1s estrictas y aplican multas <\/b>cuando consideran que la maniobra implica una p\u00e9rdida del dominio efectivo del auto. <b>En Mendoza<\/b>, por ejemplo,<b> tomar mate mientras se conduce est\u00e1 tipificado como una falta grave<\/b>. <\/p>\n<p>El <b>Decreto 326\/18 de la Ley 9024<\/b> exige que <b>el conductor mantenga el \u201cdominio efectivo del veh\u00edculo\u201d<\/b>, lo que implica <b>circular con las dos manos en el volante<\/b>, salvo excepciones justificadas como el cambio de marchas. La sanci\u00f3n alcanza las 1000 unidades fijas, que al valor de la UF a partir de 2026 ($500) equivale a <b>una multa de $500.000<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/THKX6RQHKNBRTFA2SZDW3KLP6E.jpg?auth=bfded1f537667871ca2847fd2b19e895dad475a0d91696131750133b356000a2&amp;smart=true&amp;width=2000&amp;height=1333\" alt=\"El riesgo existe si el conductor realiza la actividad\" height=\"1333\" width=\"2000\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>C\u00f3rdoba tambi\u00e9n penaliza esta conducta<\/b>, aunque con un monto sensiblemente menor. All\u00ed se la encuadra dentro del <b>concepto de manejo inseguro<\/b>, una categor\u00eda que incluye tanto fumar como tomar mate al volante. La multa es de 20 unidades fijas, l<b>o que representa hoy unos $33.920<\/b>, dado que cada UF tiene un valor de $1696.<\/p>\n<p>Un punto a tener en cuenta es que, <b>en ambas provincias, estas infracciones pueden ser detectadas mediante c\u00e1maras de seguridad<\/b>. Es decir que no hace falta que un agente de tr\u00e1nsito detenga al conductor en el momento: un registro en video puede ser suficiente para que la multa llegue directamente al domicilio, algo especialmente relevante en rutas muy transitadas durante la temporada alta.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/3RAMAX5NZBCSPHJH2BQRBQIZPA.JPG?auth=490041450863413edefc5b42917a86a8cb19c1a0d3d1f3c54613970ebe507b3c&amp;smart=true&amp;width=2000&amp;height=1437\" alt=\"Estas infracciones pueden ser detectadas mediante c\u00e1maras de seguridad\" height=\"1437\" width=\"2000\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Los argumentos detr\u00e1s de estas sanciones apuntan a la seguridad vial. De acuerdo con datos difundidos por el sitio Alertas de Tr\u00e1nsito,<b> <\/b>a 100 km\/h un veh\u00edculo recorre cerca de 28 metros por segundo. <b>Si<\/b> <b>el conductor dedica apenas cuatro segundos a cebar o tomar mate, avanza a ciegas una distancia equivalente a una cuadra completa<\/b>. En verano, cuando el flujo vehicular aumenta y las distancias de frenado pueden verse afectadas por el peso del auto cargado con equipaje y pasajeros, ese margen puede resultar cr\u00edtico.<\/p>\n<p>A eso se suman otros riesgos: <b>el agua caliente o la yerba pueden provocar quemaduras, generar reacciones bruscas o distracciones<\/b>, y la bombilla puede transformarse en un elemento peligroso ante un choque. Adem\u00e1s, en caso de un impacto, tanto el mate como el termo pueden convertirse en proyectiles dentro del habit\u00e1culo. Incluso maniobras habituales, como esquivar un bache, frenar de golpe o enfrentar una congesti\u00f3n inesperada, se vuelven m\u00e1s riesgosas si el conductor tiene una sola mano en el volante o est\u00e1 concentrado en manipular el mate.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bLa costumbre argentina puede convertirse en un peligro si se la realiza al conducir; en algunas provincias se considera manejo inseguro y puede derivar en multas elevadas\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tomar mate al volante es una postal t\u00edpica de las rutas argentinas.
