Tambi\u00e9n recomendaron a los viajeros confirmar sus vuelos con las aerol\u00edneas y mantener informados a sus familiares.<\/p>\n<h1>Qu\u00e9 aeropuertos de Colombia tienen demoras o est\u00e1n cerrados<\/h1>\n<p>La informaci\u00f3n difundida por las autoridades estadounidenses se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lanacion.com.ar\/estados-unidos\/la-explicacion-del-servicio-geologico-de-eeuu-por-el-terremoto-en-colombia-y-las-fallas-que-nid11082026\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.lanacion.com.ar\/estados-unidos\/la-explicacion-del-servicio-geologico-de-eeuu-por-el-terremoto-en-colombia-y-las-fallas-que-nid11082026\/\"><b>sismo<\/b><\/a><b> afect\u00f3 edificios, carreteras <\/b>y otros sectores de infraestructura. <\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n se registraron interrupciones en el suministro el\u00e9ctrico, la telefon\u00eda m\u00f3vil y el servicio de internet, lo que<b> complica las comunicaciones <\/b>con las personas que permanecen en las \u00e1reas afectadas.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/RN4G7PTNIZAQFF3QQZHACIVB6M.jpg?auth=758908f15635ef2b9bde9196c64025883f32fc88b34d74efcedcd8c926bb825d&amp;smart=true&amp;width=1080&amp;height=1080\" alt=\"El sismo provoc\u00f3 afectaciones cr\u00edticas en los servicios de electricidad y telecomunicaciones, lo cual ha dificultado el contacto con personas en las zonas damnificadas\" height=\"1080\" width=\"1080\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el <a href=\"https:\/\/co.usembassy.gov\/natural-disaster-alert-colombia-earthquake-update-1-august-11-2026\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/co.usembassy.gov\/natural-disaster-alert-colombia-earthquake-update-1-august-11-2026\/\">reporte de la Embajada<\/a>, <b>m\u00e1s de 164 personas murieron<\/b> y decenas resultaron heridas. El gobierno colombiano declar\u00f3 el <b>estado de desastre natural<\/b> y despleg\u00f3 equipos de respuesta en las zonas donde se concentraron los principales da\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<b>La Embajada de EE.UU. <\/b>contin\u00faa respondiendo a los informes sobre<b> ciudadanos estadounidenses afectados<\/b>, as\u00ed como monitoreando los reportes de cierres de aeropuertos y carreteras. Los viajeros deben contactar directamente a su aerol\u00ednea para obtener la informaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s reciente sobre los vuelos\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el DOS en <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TravelGov\/status\/2087335736744054878\/photo\/1\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TravelGov\/status\/2087335736744054878\/photo\/1\">redes sociales<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/6XAB6P5M45CVFA3K46GIJLO6GI.jpg?auth=f143f9915cd938d708b8d5db8afbbf828dd1a56ca372433fc11530ddedee9f34&amp;smart=true&amp;width=556&amp;height=410\" alt=\"El mensaje de alerta del DOS a los estadounidenses en Colombia\" height=\"410\" width=\"556\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Aunque algunas terminales a\u00e9reas est\u00e1n abiertas<b> <\/b>a vuelos comerciales, el gobierno estadounidense advirti\u00f3 que los <b>viajeros deben prever retrasos <\/b>en:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Bogot\u00e1<\/b>: Aeropuerto Internacional El Dorado.<\/li>\n<li><b>Medell\u00edn<\/b>: Aeropuerto Internacional Rionegro.<\/li>\n<li><b>Cali<\/b>: Aeropuerto Internacional Alfonso Bonilla Arag\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li><b>Armenia<\/b>: Aeropuerto Internacional El Ed\u00e9n.<\/li>\n<li><b>Quibd\u00f3<\/b>: Aeropuerto El Cara\u00f1o.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Entre las <b>terminales a\u00e9reas cerradas o con servicios suspendidos<\/b> se encuentran:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Pereira<\/b>: el Aeropuerto Internacional Mateca\u00f1a se encuentra cerrado debido a los da\u00f1os causados por el terremoto.<\/li>\n<li><b>Cartago, Buenaventura y Manizales<\/b>: los vuelos comerciales en sus terminales se encuentran suspendidos.<\/li>\n<li><b>Popay\u00e1n<\/b>: el Aeropuerto Guillermo Le\u00f3n Valencia Popay\u00e1n se encuentra cerrado debido a la inestabilidad del sistema volc\u00e1nico Purac\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La representaci\u00f3n diplom\u00e1tica estadounidense indic\u00f3 que<b> no organiz\u00f3 vuelos ch\u00e1rter de evacuaci\u00f3n <\/b>debido a que todav\u00eda existe disponibilidad de viajes comerciales desde otras terminales.<\/p>\n<h1>Estado de las carreteras y otras v\u00edas de transporte en Colombia<\/h1>\n<p>Las autoridades estadounidenses tambi\u00e9n informaron sobre<b> da\u00f1os en carreteras, t\u00faneles y puentes de la regi\u00f3n afectada<\/b>. Despu\u00e9s de un terremoto existe riesgo de nuevos deslizamientos, ca\u00edda de escombros y presencia de obst\u00e1culos que pueden impedir el tr\u00e1nsito.<\/p>\n<p>El Instituto Nacional de V\u00edas (Inv\u00edas) mantiene equipos destinados a revisar las <b>condiciones de las rutas<\/b>. <\/p>\n<p>Para obtener informaci\u00f3n sobre una carretera espec\u00edfica, se encuentra disponible la l\u00ednea de atenci\u00f3n 601-427-9500 durante las 24 horas y un servicio mediante SMS en el #767 (desde Colombia), seg\u00fan los datos proporcionados por la Embajada de EE.UU.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/3TYZNH5RF5FJTFMF6U2K5YRRGM.png?auth=2594c2ef0d356867d30d1ea0d4a1528515a809c420a2de681cc3c5849df75949&amp;smart=true&amp;width=700&amp;height=697\" alt=\"Las autoridades estadounidenses dieron informaci\u00f3n sobre la situaci\u00f3n en Colombia tras el terremoto\" height=\"697\" width=\"700\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Los cruces terrestres con Venezuela permanecen abiertos<\/b> y no se reportaron da\u00f1os en las v\u00edas fronterizas. El paso hacia Ecuador por Ipiales tambi\u00e9n contin\u00faa habilitado.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto al <b>sistema ferroviario<\/b>, la Agencia Nacional de Infraestructura realiza inspecciones y, de acuerdo con el reporte disponible, <b>no se observan da\u00f1os asociados al terremoto<\/b>, aunque los servicios de pasajeros son limitados.<\/p>\n<h1>Recomendaciones para ciudadanos estadounidenses en Colombia<\/h1>\n<p>El DOS pidi\u00f3 a sus ciudadanos<b> <\/b>que<b> informaran a familiares y amigos sobre su ubicaci\u00f3n y estado de salud<\/b>. Tambi\u00e9n recomend\u00f3 seguir los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n locales y las instrucciones emitidas por las autoridades colombianas mientras contin\u00faan las tareas de evaluaci\u00f3n y asistencia.<\/p>\n<p>Las autoridades tambi\u00e9n aconsejaron adoptar <b>medidas de seguridad <\/b>ante posibles r\u00e9plicas: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Durante un movimiento s\u00edsmico<\/b>, las personas que est\u00e9n dentro de un edificio deben permanecer all\u00ed, agacharse, protegerse la cabeza y el cuello y buscar refugio debajo de una mesa o estructura resistente. <\/li>\n<li><b>Despu\u00e9s del sismo<\/b>, se recomienda<b> <\/b>comprobar si hay personas heridas, evitar estructuras da\u00f1adas y no utilizar llamas abiertas ni artefactos a gas ante una posible fuga.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La Embajada de EE.UU. recomend\u00f3 adem\u00e1s utilizar el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lanacion.com.ar\/estados-unidos\/es-gratis-el-programa-del-gobierno-para-quienes-tengan-pasaporte-estadounidense-y-viajen-al-nid20042026\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.lanacion.com.ar\/estados-unidos\/es-gratis-el-programa-del-gobierno-para-quienes-tengan-pasaporte-estadounidense-y-viajen-al-nid20042026\/\"><b>Programa de Inscripci\u00f3n de Viajeros Inteligentes<\/b><\/a> (<b>STEP<\/b>, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), un<b> servicio gratuito<\/b> destinado a ciudadanos y nacionales estadounidenses que <b>permite recibir comunicaciones de seguridad de las representaciones diplom\u00e1ticas<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>El registro puede realizarse a trav\u00e9s del <a href=\"https:\/\/mytravel.state.gov\/s\/step\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/mytravel.state.gov\/s\/step\">sitio web<\/a> y requiere aproximadamente 20 minutos. Una vez completado, los viajeros pueden recibir <b>informaci\u00f3n relacionada con<\/b> <b>seguridad<\/b>, salud y condiciones clim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bConsulta qu\u00e9 aeropuertos de
