As\u00ed lo confirm\u00f3 Iguaz\u00fa Argentina la empresa concesionaria de los servicios en el \u00e1rea protegida.<\/p>\n<p>La fuerte crecida se debi\u00f3, seg\u00fan medios locales, a las <b>intensas lluvias<\/b> en las altas cuencas de<b> Brasil y Paraguay<\/b>. La medida, tomada <b>por tiempo indeterminado<\/b>, responde a un fen\u00f3meno hidrol\u00f3gico de r\u00e1pida evoluci\u00f3n. En un lapso de apenas 26 horas, el caudal del r\u00edo Iguaz\u00fa experiment\u00f3 un salto dr\u00e1stico: de los <b>2750<\/b> metros c\u00fabicos por segundo pas\u00f3 a los <b>9190<\/b> metros c\u00fabicos.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/I44I2ULO2REDJMZCN276JEAAIQ.jpg?auth=a972cb607ddaeee07e8439e00ca5c67d7a85f6d8c237743eb011e1e50cfbb300&amp;smart=true&amp;width=6720&amp;height=4480\" alt=\"En un lapso de apenas 26 horas, el caudal del r\u00edo Iguaz\u00fa experiment\u00f3 un salto dr\u00e1stico\" height=\"4480\" width=\"6720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Esta tendencia se mantuvo durante este jueves, cuando los registros marcaron que el flujo de agua alcanz\u00f3 los 10.000 metros c\u00fabicos por segundo, seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 <i>La Voz de las Cataratas<\/i>. La cifra representa casi seis veces el caudal normal del r\u00edo, que habitualmente oscila entre los <b>1500 y los 1800 <\/b>metros c\u00fabicos por segundo.<\/p>\n<p>Frente a este escenario, la firma Iguaz\u00fa Argentina activ\u00f3 el protocolo de emergencia dise\u00f1ado para estas contingencias clim\u00e1ticas. El cierre del paseo se estableci\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles permitiendo que los operarios iniciaran las tareas para rebatir las barandas de las pasarelas. <\/p>\n<p>Desde <b>la Administraci\u00f3n de Parques Nacionales<\/b> junto a la empresa concesionaria informaron que la reapertura de la Garganta del Diablo <b>est\u00e1 sujeta a la evoluci\u00f3n de las condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas y al descenso del nivel del r\u00edo<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez que el agua retroceda, el personal t\u00e9cnico deber\u00e1 realizar una inspecci\u00f3n para corroborar que <b>no existan da\u00f1os estructurales<\/b> antes de volver a ubicar las barandas y habilitar el paso al p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de la clausura del salto principal, <b>el Parque Nacional Iguaz\u00fa permanece abierto.<\/b> Los turistas que visitan el destino pueden realizar los recorridos por los <b>circuitos Inferior y Superior. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Del lado brasile\u00f1o, el panorama es igualmente impactante. Las Cataratas del Iguaz\u00fa muestran una imagen con m\u00e1s<b> de 10 millones de litros de agua por segundo precipit\u00e1ndose sobre los saltos<\/b>. Debido a esta situaci\u00f3n, el \u00fanico circuito disponible en el margen brasile\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n permanece cerrado al p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/YOPRE2IARBC77ABNCZNWVOHV6E.png?auth=bf3109aa7e9caa96ed1e3c97ce9473604d7c455448c765c01cc8092652b8aa8e&amp;smart=true&amp;width=1024&amp;height=668\" alt=\"La crecida del r\u00edo del lado brasile\u00f1o\" height=\"668\" width=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Esta \u00faltima crecida evoca a los antecedentes hist\u00f3ricos de la regi\u00f3n, aunque est\u00e1 lejos de los m\u00e1ximos. En 2023 el r\u00edo alcanz\u00f3 aproximadamente <b>16.500 metros c\u00fabicos por segundo,<\/b> provocando el cierre total de los circuitos y da\u00f1os en pasarelas e infraestructura. <\/p>\n<p>A fin de ese ese a\u00f1o nuevas crecidas superaron los <b>20.000,<\/b> una de las mayores registradas en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. La \u00faltima significativa antes que la reciente fue en julio de 2025: el caudal rond\u00f3 los <b>8500 metros c\u00fabicos por segundo<\/b>, lo que oblig\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n en esa ocasi\u00f3n al cierre preventivo de la Garganta del Diablo.<\/p>\n<p>Ninguno alcanz\u00f3 a la \u00faltima gran inundaci\u00f3n registrada en Misiones que ocurri\u00f3 en junio de <b>2014<\/b>. En aquella oportunidad, el pico de la creciente en las Cataratas alcanz\u00f3 los <b>45.700 metros c\u00fabicos<\/b> por segundo, una cifra que represent\u00f3 m\u00e1s de <b>30 veces el caudal promedio.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u200bActivaron en Misiones el protocolo de seguridad ante el aumento repentino del caudal; las intensas lluvias en las altas cuencas de Brasil y Paraguay obligaron a clausurar
