Pero me entretuve mientras respond\u00eda a un correo electr\u00f3nico y, antes de que me diera cuenta, <strong>mi tiempo para hacer ejercicio se hab\u00eda acortado<\/strong>. En lugar de correr menos tiempo, decid\u00ed no hacerlo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-45461e9c-0 eqiBeF container-text text-embed \">\n<p>Este enfoque de \u00abtodo o nada\u00bb ante el ejercicio es com\u00fan e impide que muchas personas logren sus objetivos de condici\u00f3n f\u00edsica, dijo Michelle Segar, cient\u00edfica del comportamiento de la Universidad de M\u00edchigan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-45461e9c-0 eqiBeF container-text text-embed \">\n<p>En un <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1186\/s12889-025-25780-9\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"peque\u00f1o estudio reciente\" class=\"tac-player-processed\">peque\u00f1o estudio reciente<\/a>, Segar y sus coautores descubrieron que, cuando los sujetos no pod\u00edan hacer ejercicio exactamente como quer\u00edan, <strong>con frecuencia optaban por no hacer nada<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-45461e9c-0 eqiBeF container-text text-embed \">\n<p>Aunque tener una mentalidad de \u00abtodo o nada\u00bb se ha estudiado m\u00e1s ampliamente en\u00a0otros\u00a0contextos, no se ha\u00a0estudiado formalmente\u00a0mucho en relaci\u00f3n con el ejercicio hasta hace poco. Pero para la mayor\u00eda, la clave para iniciar un h\u00e1bito de ejercicio \u2014y mantenerlo\u2014 no es m\u00e1s disciplina, sino<strong> m\u00e1s flexibilidad<\/strong>, dijo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-45461e9c-0 eqiBeF container-text text-embed \">\n<p>La gente suele culparse a s\u00ed misma cuando no alcanza sus objetivos de ejercicio, se\u00f1al\u00f3, pero este tipo de pensamiento de \u00abtodo o nada\u00bb suele estar presente en los mensajes populares sobre el ejercicio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-45461e9c-0 eqiBeF container-text text-embed \">\n<p>Muchos influencers del ejercicio y entrenadores de\u00a0fitness\u00a0promueven un enfoque \u00absin excusas\u00bb y algunos retos populares como\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1186\/s12889-025-25780-9\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"75 Hard\" class=\"tac-player-processed\">75 Hard<\/a>\u00a0y \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/runeveryday.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"streaking\" class=\"tac-player-processed\">streaking<\/a>\u00bb (correr en una racha ininterrumpida de d\u00edas), plantean que, si te salt\u00e1s un entrenamiento, <strong>ten\u00e9s que empezar de cero<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-45461e9c-0 eqiBeF container-text text-embed \">\n<p>Pero para algunas personas a las que les cuesta hacer ejercicio, la\u00a0recomendaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica\u00a0de que los adultos hagan un m\u00ednimo de 150 minutos de ejercicio aer\u00f3bico y dos sesiones de entrenamiento de fuerza a la semana <strong>puede parecerles inalcanzable<\/strong>, y termina por desanimarlas, dijo Rick Richey, entrenador principal de la Academia Nacional de Medicina Deportiva, con sede en Nueva York. \u00abLa gente ve eso y dice: \u2018Bueno, ni siquiera puedo conseguir el m\u00ednimo, entonces \u00bfpara qu\u00e9 hacer nada?\u00bb, sostuvo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sc-45461e9c-0 eqiBeF container-text text-embed \">\n<p>\u00abSi no pod\u00e9s ser flexible, es f\u00e1cil que te rompas\u00bb, dijo Richey. Puede ser tan sencillo como decidir con anticipaci\u00f3n que si no pod\u00e9s correr vas a caminar, o que si no pod\u00e9s ir al gimnasio vas a hacer ejercicios de peso corporal en casa.
