As\u00ed lo advirti\u00f3 Rafael Ba\u00f1ares, catedr\u00e1tico de Medicina y presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola para el Estudio del H\u00edgado, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/es\/salud-bienestar\/a70939908\/higado-alcohol-grasa-enfermedad-hepatica-avanzada\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/es\/salud-bienestar\/a70939908\/higado-alcohol-grasa-enfermedad-hepatica-avanzada\/\">en di\u00e1logo con la revista Men\u2019s Health<\/a>. \u201cHay dos grandes amenazas contra el ri\u00f1\u00f3n que emergen con fuerza:<b> la enfermedad hep\u00e1tica de grasa metab\u00f3lica y el incremento del consumo de alcohol<\/b>, especialmente en j\u00f3venes\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Entre las patolog\u00edas m\u00e1s frecuentes aparecen el h\u00edgado graso, la hepatitis, la cirrosis y, en los casos m\u00e1s graves, el c\u00e1ncer hep\u00e1tico. \u201cEl alcohol y la grasa y su impacto hacen anticipar una progresi\u00f3n e incremento en el n\u00famero de casos de enfermedad hep\u00e1tica avanzada en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os. <b>Se estima que cerca del 30 por ciento de la poblaci\u00f3n puede tener alguna forma de h\u00edgado graso en el futuro <\/b>y, lo peor de todo, muchas veces sin saberlo y de manera silenciosa durante muchos a\u00f1os\u00bb, alert\u00f3 el experto.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/PGQL5COXY5FKTBTH7DFA6FNIH4.jpg?auth=bbf461f1bcf1fafd20ca9ac2ff72a50c938ca40de93c2fb99be5902d5d9ab622&amp;smart=true&amp;width=5022&amp;height=3348\" alt=\"Cada vez m\u00e1s personas j\u00f3venes presentan enfermedades hep\u00e1ticas\" height=\"3348\" width=\"5022\" \/><\/p>\n<h1>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los primeros s\u00edntomas que presentan las personas con enfermedades hep\u00e1ticas?<\/h1>\n<p>Aunque en muchos casos las patolog\u00edas hep\u00e1ticas no presentan s\u00edntomas en etapas tempranas, los especialistas recomiendan<b> prestar atenci\u00f3n a ciertas se\u00f1ales que podr\u00edan indicar un problema en el h\u00edgado<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Piel o ojos amarillentos<\/li>\n<li>Dolor o inflamaci\u00f3n abdominal <\/li>\n<li>Fatiga cr\u00f3nica <\/li>\n<li>N\u00e1useas frecuentes<\/li>\n<li>P\u00e9rdida de apetito<\/li>\n<li>Orina m\u00e1s oscura de lo habitual<\/li>\n<li>Hinchaz\u00f3n en piernas o abdomen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Los m\u00e9dicos remarcan que <b>la detecci\u00f3n temprana es clave para evitar complicaciones graves <\/b>y mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes.<\/p>\n<figure><video height=\"960\" width=\"540\" poster=\"https:\/\/cdn.jwplayer.com\/v2\/media\/D6B2Skqy\/poster.jpg?width=720\" preload=\"none\"><\/video><figcaption>Cinco s\u00edntomas que indican que tu h\u00edgado est\u00e1 enfermo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h1>\u00bfC\u00f3mo prevenir las enfermedades hep\u00e1ticas?<\/h1>\n<p>Los especialistas coinciden en que gran parte de las enfermedades hep\u00e1ticas pueden prevenirse o retrasarse mediante h\u00e1bitos saludables sostenidos en el tiempo. Entre las principales recomendaciones aparecen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reducir o evitar el consumo excesivo de alcohol <\/li>\n<li>Mantener una alimentaci\u00f3n equilibrada baja en grasas saturadas y ultraprocesados<\/li>\n<li>Realizar actividad f\u00edsica de forma regular<\/li>\n<li>Controlar el peso corporal<\/li>\n<li>Evitar el tabaquismo<\/li>\n<li>Mantenerse hidratado <\/li>\n<li>No automedicarse <\/li>\n<li>Realizar controles m\u00e9dicos peri\u00f3dicos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, los m\u00e9dicos aconsejan controlar enfermedades preexistentes como diabetes, colesterol alto e hipertensi\u00f3n, ya que tambi\u00e9n pueden aumentar el riesgo de desarrollar h\u00edgado graso y otras complicaciones hep\u00e1ticas. Otra herramienta importante es la vacunaci\u00f3n contra algunas hepatitis virales.<\/p>\n<h1>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la situaci\u00f3n de Argentina en relaci\u00f3n a la hepatitis?<\/h1>\n<p>La hepatitis es la enfermedad m\u00e1s latente en Argentina. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitalaustral.edu.ar\/2013\/08\/hepatitis-situacion-en-la-argentina-y-tratamientos\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.hospitalaustral.edu.ar\/2013\/08\/hepatitis-situacion-en-la-argentina-y-tratamientos\/\">Seg\u00fan el Hospital Universitario Austral<\/a>, \u201cen nuestro pa\u00eds, aproximadamente, el 1% de la poblaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 infectada cr\u00f3nicamente con Hepatitis C (HCV) y menos del 0,5% con Hepatitis B (HBV). Al igual que en otros pa\u00edses del mundo, hay zonas geogr\u00e1ficas de mayor prevalencia, habi\u00e9ndose identificado inclusive poblaciones con una tasa de prevalencia cercana al 5%\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>El Dr. Marcelo Silva, jefe de Hepatolog\u00eda Cl\u00ednica del servicio de Hepatolog\u00eda y Trasplante Hep\u00e1tico del Hospital Universitario Austral (HUA), explic\u00f3 que es importante tener en cuenta que en Argentina los contagios no se producen de igual forma que en los pa\u00edses de Estados Unidos y Europa. \u201cEn ellos, el uso de drogas intravenosas es la causa m\u00e1s frecuente. En la Argentina, por su parte, aunque el uso de drogas creci\u00f3 significativamente en la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, <b>la fuente de contagio m\u00e1s frecuente son los procedimientos m\u00e9dicos inseguros en el caso de la HCV, y la transmisi\u00f3n sexual en la HBV<\/b>\u201d, remarc\u00f3. <\/p>\n<p>\u200bLos m\u00e9dicos alertan por el aumento de patolog\u00edas vinculadas al h\u00edgado en
