En ese entonces comenzaban a surgir las <b>yerbas compuestas <\/b>y, por sugerencia de un amigo due\u00f1o de un mayorista, decidi\u00f3 <b>incursionar<\/b> en ese segmento. Viaj\u00f3 a<b> Misiones<\/b>, contact\u00f3 a productores, y a <b>Traslasierra, <\/b>donde defini\u00f3 a proveedores de hierbas arom\u00e1ticas. As\u00ed naci\u00f3 la marca <b>Verdeflor,<\/b> que hoy produce unos <b>16 millones de kilos al a\u00f1o.<\/b> A esa empresa, a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, se sum\u00f3 <b>L\u00e1cteos La Blanca,<\/b> que fabrica unas <b>15.000 toneladas anuales de dulce de leche<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>El fundador de las marcas falleci\u00f3 hace siete a\u00f1os; su hijo <b>Ernesto Cordeiro <\/b>es quien <b>est\u00e1 al frente de la empresa.<\/b> Si bien sus otros cinco hermanos integran el directorio, el \u00fanico involucrado al ciento por ciento es \u00e9l. Admite que la compa\u00f1\u00eda <b>\u201cnaci\u00f3 por necesidad. Mi pap\u00e1 ten\u00eda formaci\u00f3n en otras \u00e1reas, no en la de alimentos\u201d. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn los \u201980 comienza la comercializaci\u00f3n a nivel nacional de la yerba y, en paralelo, <b>fracciona az\u00facar<\/b> con la misma marca -repasa-. Era complementario con la yerba y se mov\u00eda mucho financieramente. Le va bien, pero cuando asume (Carlos) Menem ese <i>commodity<\/i> con rentabilidad baja, deja de funcionar. Entonces compr\u00f3 un campo. El Presidente dec\u00eda que la Argentina ser\u00eda \u2018el tambo del mundo\u2019, \u00e9l empieza a hacer ganader\u00eda y, m\u00e1s adelante, anexa el tambo\u201d. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lanacion.com.ar\/economia\/campo\/lluvia-bendecida-las-precipitaciones-llevaron-alivio-al-campo-en-zonas-muy-comprometidas-nid16022026\/\">\u201cLluvia bendecida\u201d: las precipitaciones llevaron alivio al campo en zonas muy comprometidas L<\/a><\/p>\n<p>El a\u00f1o pasado la marca de yerba se consolid\u00f3 como la segunda a nivel nacional entre las compuestas y la quinta en el ranking general, con unos 16 millones de kilos anuales. Las exportaciones, que comenzaron en el 2005, hoy representan <b>seis por ciento del total de ventas. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/XPAYNACKZBESXMKC3PM25JX5PU.JPG?auth=e53e46df3706cd0f70c454f224c5f275349b483520e81aa347c6bf144297d62c&amp;smart=true&amp;width=2160&amp;height=1440\" alt=\"La marca de yerba compuesta produce unos 16 millones de kilos al a\u00f1o\" height=\"1440\" width=\"2160\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHay mucho por crecer -dice Cordeiro a <b>LA NACION<\/b>-. Chile es el principal mercado externo y tambi\u00e9n enviamos a Estados Unidos, varios pa\u00edses europeos, Costa Rica, M\u00e9xico, Australia, Nueva Zelanda y Tailandia, nuestro deseo m\u00e1s ex\u00f3tico\u201d. El portafolio incluye <b>15 variedades.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La empresa cuenta con <b>tres plantas industriales<\/b>. En Leandro N. Alem (Misiones) la de secado y estacionamiento; en la ciudad de C\u00f3rdoba la de molienda y fraccionamiento y en Villa Dolores una de acopio y procesamiento de arom\u00e1ticas habilitada hace pocas semanas. Adem\u00e1s, tienen una <b>plantaci\u00f3n de arom\u00e1ticas <\/b>en esa ciudad del oeste cordob\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Cordeiro precisa que el \u201ccrecimiento y posicionamiento de marca\u201d est\u00e1 vinculado directamente con contar con \u201c<b>productos naturales al 100%.<\/b> La clave es esa; que sean sin agregados\u201d. <\/p>\n<h1>Producci\u00f3n<\/h1>\n<p>En esa l\u00ednea detectaron que la demanda no se iba a poder cubrir con la producci\u00f3n existente de hierbas arom\u00e1ticas, con lo que resolvieron \u201c<b>avanzar en la cadena productiva\u201d <\/b>y pusieron en marcha la plantaci\u00f3n, a donde hacen menta, cedr\u00f3n, burro y peperina <b>(la empresa hizo dos a\u00f1os de ensayo de adaptaci\u00f3n al cultivo intensivo a campo, junto con la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de C\u00f3rdoba y el Conicet). Adem\u00e1s, importan desde Chile, Paraguay y Egipto.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/HBFNDGQF7VHBBC57ML5SPFZWAQ.JPG?auth=392bbec00c8f3ef90cc1d73d08502626b563ed3d442387278fdf49cb781f4418&amp;smart=true&amp;width=2560&amp;height=1440\" alt=\"La firma se meti\u00f3 fuerte en alimentos\" height=\"1440\" width=\"2560\" \/><\/p>\n<p>El emprendimiento de Villa Dolores tiene tres pilares, de los que dos ya instrumentaron la plantaci\u00f3n de <b>50 hect\u00e1reas<\/b> y un <b>campo escuela en el que se integraron con productores locales<\/b> para \u201clograr mejores pr\u00e1cticas agr\u00edcolas\u201d. El tercero, todav\u00eda no ejecutado, es el desarrollo de un equipo de servicios. <b>El procesamiento de las hierbas se realiza en un establecimiento de 1500 metros cuadrados, con maquinaria especialmente dise\u00f1ada.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/ANWRDBD24JCB3PS4IEQB7LFB5M.jpg?auth=3c3457183f1596da2c46b163977e1ef34c7afb08eec228a35f8c150ac13e95fc&amp;smart=true&amp;width=1536&amp;height=1269\" alt=\"Ernesto Cordeiro: \" height=\"1269\" width=\"1536\" \/><\/p>\n<p>No solo la marca de yerba creci\u00f3 desde su fundaci\u00f3n, un camino similar recorri\u00f3 L\u00e1cteos La Blanca que, desde el 2001, se especializ\u00f3 en la producci\u00f3n de dulce de leche. \u201cEn el 2003 vendimos el campo y <b>nos enfocamos en elaboraci\u00f3n de alimentos<\/b>, un \u00e1rea en la que ya ten\u00edamos experiencia. Ya <b>exportamos a Chile y a Estados Unidos con nuestra marca para los canales de reposter\u00eda y panificaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Compran la leche a productores cordobeses y fabrican en la planta que tienen en R\u00edo Primero, que cuenta con certificaci\u00f3n FSSC 22000 que garantiza la inocuidad alimentaria. \u201cTenemos varias f\u00f3rmulas y productos desarrollados a medida para
